Yesterday, I told you about our
fun day on Saturday. Today, let me tell you about our Sunday!
We always go to Mass on Sunday morning, so we got up, had breakfast, got dressed, and prepared to head to church. Wasn't Abby so adorable in her new dress from cousin Laura?
Abby loved pointing out the "tur-tles" on her dress. :-)
Uh-oh... Someone found mommy's sunglasses... After lunch and a nap, we decided to head over to our church's annual Family Feast and Festival. We went last year, but Abby was still so tiny that we just walked around. This year, Abby was able to have some fun!
Abby's very first ride on a carousel. She loved it! She was smiling as we went around, and she kept making horsey noises! :-)
Abby knows that hydration is important, so we took a water break and Abby liked holding the bottle herself.
Enjoying some french fries with mommy. I think Abby considers ketchup another food group!
Our second ride on the carousel. She wouldn't smile for the camera, but trust me, she was having a blast!
Abby wanted to play with the "fishies." But, instead of using the fishing pole, she just stuck her hands in the water to pull our her fish!
Thankfully, this was a game where everyone wins, so Abby was able to pick out a purple ball.
Abby and daddy leaving the fair. Abby was hanging on tightly to her new red balloon (which was also tied to her stroller, just in case!), and we were pretty hot, but we had a great time and appreciated the air conditioning when we got home!
