Our Fun Weekend - Part 1

This past weekend, Abby had no Tot Music. (Spring session ended June 19th, and we decided to skip summer session since the only available time would interfere with Abby's nap.) We had no one coming to visit us, so we didn't feel any pressure to make sure the house was immaculate (or, at least as close as we ever come to immaculate...). So we decided to just have fun.

On Saturday morning, we decided to go to the Northport Farmer's Market. Carey and I love walking around, looking at the fresh produce and tasty baked goodies, and we knew that Abby would love to watch the boats and all the doggies that hang around in the park.

It was pretty hot, and Abby was pretty thirsty. She loved being a "big girl" and drinking out of her own water bottle.

After our fun morning, we went home so we could eat lunch and Abby could take her nap. Then, the not-so-fun part of our weekend: the United States loss to Ghana in the World Cup. What's a disappointed soccer-lover to do? First, you watch your little girl try on your rain boots because she wants to wear "boots" like mommy!

Then, you go to Ralph's with your handsome husband and adorable daughter and enjoy some Italian ices!
