Thanks to my Aunt Teresa for the suggestion for getting Abby to enjoy tummy time a bit more! I grabbed a few of Abby's books and set them up in front of her so she could "read." She spent almost ten minutes on her belly just looking at the bright colors in the books, but she especially loved "Christmas in the Manger," which was a gift from Cousin Dan and his girlfriend Ali for Abby's baptism. Ten minutes is definitely the longest she's spent on her belly at one time. The doctor said it's important that Abby gets in at least 20 minutes of tummy time a day and that it is fine if that time is broken up throughout the day. So, we'll try to get some more time in when she wakes up from her nap, and maybe we'll get daddy to spend some tummy time with Abby when he gets home... Thanks again, Aunt Teresa, for the great suggestion! :-)

That picture is outrageous! So happy to hear Abby is into reading! You can never start early enough.
