Loving Summer!

It has been a very hot few days here on Long Island, but the Ngs are finding ways to beat the heat. A few photos of my babies to start off the weekend:

We took the contents of Abby's piggy bank to the Coinstar machine at our local grocery store.
(There's no fee if you take the money as a gift card, so we figured it would be easier than
rolling all that change.) As you can see, that bank held almost $70 in change!
Most of the money went into Abby's bank account, but she was
allowed to spend some, which she decided to use for a new Barbie doll.

As a special graduation present, Grandma Jadwiga gave Abby some ice cream money,
so my sweet pea took us all out for ice cream at Carvel. Yum!

I really cannot say enough wonderful things about our library. Not only are all of the people who work there incredibly friendly, there is so much material available (both at the library and through inter-library loan) and they offer so many wonderful programs, including an amazing summer reading club. When we're looking for a place to beat the heat, the library ranks at the top of our list!
