Our Little Foofa

My daughter loves Yo Gabba Gabba. I mean, she really loves it. When she first hears those footsteps as DJ Lance Rock walks across the screen, she will literally stop in her tracks and sit enraptured for 20 minutes. (Hooray Nick Jr. for having no commercials!) So, you can imagine how excited Abby was to dress up like Foofa for Halloween. (Thanks, Grandpa Al and Grandma Debbie!)

Isn't she the cutest little Foofa? :-)

At the Halloween parade at daycare.

Abby's first time Trick or Treating!

Daddy, I got M&Ms!

Seeing Abby's excitement over her Halloween costume, I was so happy to hear that Foofa was stopping by one of our local malls. Despite the fact that the Meet-and-Greet was during nap time, we decided to take a chance and go to the mall. (Every once in a while, Abby won't take a nap, so we knew that she could go without one, even if we would prefer that she hold onto her naps for, oh, another 3 years or so...) Abby did pretty well in line, which was long. But, once we could see Foofa standing ahead of us, Abby donned her Foofa costume and was only too ready to get her picture taken with Foofa.

Almost our turn!!!

Big Foofa and Little Foofa (And, well, and a mommy because Abby was a little scared to approach such a big Foofa all by herself...)

Is that you, Foofa?

Foofas, Foofas, everywhere!

The mall also had a small coin operated carousel. Abby asked if she could ride the "horseys" - how could we say no to this face?

My beautiful brown-eyed girl...

On our way out, we asked daddy to take our picture with the sign. Smile and say "Foofa!"

It looks like someone was tired out by all that excitement... :-)

Abby still talks about having her picture taken with Foofa. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how Carey and I became the coolest parents ever.
