11 weeks old and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Sorry that it's been a few days since my last post. The holidays have been keeping the Ngs very busy the past few days. But, it was a good kind of busy, filled with family, friends, and good food. No, wait, great food! :-)

Abby had a great first Thanksgiving here on Long Island. We spent Thanksgiving day at Bart and Melissa's house with Melissa's family, and Friday afternoon was Ng family Thanksgiving, with everyone gathering at mom and dad's house. The food was so great on both days that I'm still full...

Abigail turned 11 weeks old yesterday. She's getting cuter every day! She is eating and sleeping well, and she is incredibly alert during the periods she is awake. She loves looking out the windows and, while she can't pick up her toys herself, she loves to hear and see her rattles and other toys. (She can actually grip her toys if someone puts them in her hand, so we do that. But, we have to be careful because sometimes her arms will flail around and then she'll knock herself in the head. It doesn't seem to bother her because most of her toys are soft and light, but I still feel bad watching her hit herself in the head.) She's also trying to put weight on her legs while Carey and I hold her up. It's so cute to watch her try all these new things. Having a baby grow up before my eyes has really been the most amazing experience, especially knowing that this amazing little girl is mine! :-) I can't wait to see what the future holds!

And, while Abby did not eat any turkey this Thanksgiving, she did take part in one of her daddy's favorite Thanksgiving traditions: the after dinner nap. :-)
