March for Babies!

This morning, Carey and I participated in the March of Dimes' annual March for Babies. (We went with Linda, one of our friends from church.) We were hoping that some more of our church friends might have been able to make it, but the weather was rather uncooperative (it rained almost the entire walk). Carey and I were glad that we could do our part, even if our group was small.

The walk was in Liberty State Park, in Jersey City, NJ. The route took us right along the Hudson River, and we had some great views of Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty, and the NYC skyline. Plus, there was all kinds of food available for the walkers, and all the volunteers were really appreciative that we'd come out in the wet weather. So, despite the rain, we had a lot of fun!!
