This past Sunday, I saw concrete evidence that Abigail is my girl. (Not that there was any doubt before, but you know what I mean...) I sat in the living room, eating some pierogi for lunch. My little munchkin came over, opened her mouth, and made her mooching sound - "ah ah" means "gimme some, too!" So, I cut off a small bite and gave it to Abby. She loved it! We proceeded to sit for almost a half hour, sharing our pierogi and having a great time.

That's my girl!
Abigail looks like Carey. Exactly like Carey. This is no surprise to me - I see it every day. When Carey and Abby sit together, it looks like Carey and his Mini-Me. It's cute. I love that my handsome husband and my beautiful daughter share such a resemblance. But a part of me wishes that Abby looked a little more like me. After all, I carried her around for 9 months. I had to handle the hard part on September 12, 2008 (no offense to Carey). But, God created Abby just as she was meant to be, and I am truly thankful to have that marvelous little girl in my life.

And this reaction was brought to you by store-bought pierogi - just wait until she gets a taste of the delicious homemade pierogi that we'll have at the Kowalczyk family Christmas Eve feast! :-)

I wish you lived closer to me. I would definitely have you over to help make the pierogi!
I can totally sympathize with you...Jacob looks JUST LIKE Keith. And everyone reminds me all the time!! I, like you, am happy about it but I wish he looked just a little bit more like me!
Also, perogis...YUM! I love them. But, sadly, have never had a homemade one. Just the store-bought ones. I am sure Jake will like them too since he does seem to get one thing from me....the LOVE of food!! lol
Haha Abby will be lucky to get any, if I recall correctly last year her mommy & daddy were fighting over the last ones! ;)
