The past two weeks, after Abby has gone to bed, Carey and I have spent every evening sorting, washing, and organizing items into sell, donate, and throw-away piles. The washing finally ended last night, and tonight will involve getting everything organized and priced so tomorrow morning we can put everything onto tables and officially start our sale! Unfortunately, the weather report is calling for scattered thunderstorms on Sunday, so I'm hoping that we can sell a large amount of items tomorrow. We've advertised in the local pennysaver, on Craigslist, a few other online garage sale websites, and we'll be posting signs on the main road that's just a few blocks from our house. I'm hoping that this gets us enough traffic to move everything that we're trying to sell! (Or, at least most of it...)
Bart and Melissa are getting in on the action to, so I was able to advertise it as a "multi-family yard sale." Between their stuff, our stuff, and the stuff that mama and dad brought over from their house, we have quite a selection! I'm looking forward to spending the next two days outside, and I can't wait to get rid of all the stuff that's been cluttering up our house. (Whatever isn't sold will be donated, so either way, it's outta here!)
I'll be pretty busy this weekend, so I doubt I'll be on the blog. So, to everyone, have a happy, safe weekend! Hugs and kisses from Abby!
