Did she just take a step?!?!

So, what's up with Abby these days? Well, for those of you who are curious, here is "A Day in the Life of Abigail."

After we wake up on Sundays, we put on a pretty outfit and go to church. Abby is usually pretty good while we're there, although we sometimes need to walk around with her or "bribe" her into good behavior with an ample supply of Cheerios and her sippy cup of water.
When we get home, we usually just play. Since yesterday was such an icky day outside, we stayed inside to play.

Sometimes she eats Cheerios off her ottoman:
Sometimes she cruises along the couch:
Sometimes she smiles at mommy:
Sometimes she just hangs out in her Winnie the Pooh chair:
Sometimes she tries to hide from the camera:
Sometimes she decides what she'd like to eat, EleCare or prunes. (In this case, EleCare won...):
Sometimes SHE STANDS UP ALL BY HERSELF WITHOUT HOLDING ON TO ANYTHING!!!
And, for the very first time ever, ABBY TOOK HER FIRST STEP!!!

Now, we're not running any marathons yet, but she took one step without holding onto anything and then grabbed for my leg with her second step. I was so happy and proud that my eyes filled with tears and I couldn't stop hugging her! My little munchkin! Taking a step! I think I was the proudest mommy in the world yesterday. :-)

Now, Abby hasn't done it again, but I will be sure to get pictures and video as soon as I can. (More like, as soon as Abby decides that she's like to take another step!)
