Well, it's my first Not Me! Monday. Just a few of the things that I would never, EVER do and, of course, did not do last week.
I did not make fun of the multi-colored poo that my daughter gifted me with on Saturday. I definitely did not decide to give her prunes and sweet potatoes in the same day again to see if such a colorful fiesta would await me again on Sunday. (Which it didn't, in case you were wondering.) Would I experiment with my daughter like that? Not me!
I did not pretend to be asleep on the couch on Thursday night so that my wonderful husband would wash all the baby bottles. Not me!
I did not almost leave the house in my furry purple slippers because I was so tired on Friday morning. I did not make it out onto the porch before realizing my mistake, and I most definitely did not laugh like a moron in my driveway at 6:25 am. Not me!
And finally, I did not wear a belt last Tuesday because my pre-pregnancy pants are still too tight and I couldn't close the buttons. I did not leave the zipper half-undone because that is the only way the pants were comfortable, and I did not pick out a super-long shirt to cover said jerry-rigged ensemble. Not me!
Ah, the honesty of admitting that I did absolutely none of the aforementioned things. Cleansing is good for the soul!
