It was a busy, but good, weekend all around. (I feel like I had to come back to work just to get some rest!!)
Carey and I went upstate for my 10 year high school reunion. It was a lot of fun to see so many of the people that I graduated with, and to check in to see what they've been up to since 1998.

There was a great turnout, and everyone seemed to have fun. Abigail even cooperated and let me stay out until almost 11:00 pm! We met up at the Batavia Country Club. After a few hours of open bar and mingling, we all sat down to a chicken barbecue in one of the outdoor pavilions. After everyone finished eating, one of my classmates, who is now a DJ, started playing music and folks began dancing. It was at this point that Abby made it known that she wanted to go home, so Carey and I headed out. But, overall, we had a good time and enjoyed seeing so many people! (A little weird to think that the next time we do this, Abigail will be TEN!)
The "bad" part of the weekend was that Carey decided to catch a cold.

But, instead of keeping it to himself, he passed it along to me. Ugh. I've actually been very lucky; not counting the first trimester nausea, aside from a day or two of my stomach not feeling well, I haven't been sick at all during my pregnancy. (Must be Abigail and those prenatal vitamins keeping me healthy!) Well, I'm stuffed up today and have a bit of a sore throat. But, I'm hoping that I caught it soon enough and will be able to flush it out with lots of liquids and salt-water gargling. (Oh, by the way, Carey feels fine today. Grrrr...)
And now for the "delayed." I really don't like Amtrak. We were lucky enough to arrive in Rochester on time on Friday, but we were not so lucky on our way home yesterday. The train arrived at the Rochester train

station on time yesterday morning. But, after boarding, we were told that a freight train ahead of us had lost four of its cars and they were currently being located and reattached. So, we just sat in the train station for over an hour and lost more time as we went. Needless to say, we were very late getting into Penn Station, so we were very late getting on the Long Island Railroad, so we were very late getting home. And, while the train ride normally puts Abigail right to sleep in the morning, this morning, she poked and prodded me the entire time. (She was probably thinking "The train again? Mom, are you serious???")
