A man who is an amazing husband, excellent father, and my best friend. This year, Abby couldn't wait to sing Happy Birthday to daddy, although mommy did have to convince her to let daddy sleep in just a little bit... :-) It was so much fun to plan daddy's birthday with Abby this year, because it was the first year that she was able to help with the planning. We do have a bit of work to do though - it does no good being sneaky when your 3 year old daughter announces to daddy that we're being sneaky for his birthday so he shouldn't ask any questions about the pictures she's going to draw on his birthday card. Somehow, that bit of cuteness was one of the things that made the day so special this year.
So, happy birthday, Carey. May this year be filled with health, happiness and all good things, and may you feel how loved you are each and every day!
