It was my lucky day!

Okay, so I never win anything. I'm not saying that in a "boo hoo, woe is me" kinda way, just an "it is what it is" kinda way. Well, last week was my lucky day!

About two months ago, I found Gussy thanks to a giveaway on another blog. Gussy is the brainchild of Maggie Whitley, an amazingly talented young lady who has an eye for color and a flair for ruffles. I purchased a Gussy bag, with a beautiful orange ruffle.

Hey, I graduated from Syracuse. Is there any color besides orange???

Last week, I entered Gussy's Giveaway Day. Maggie had a bunch of awesome giveaways from different shops offering handmade items. Well guess what? I won! I know, I couldn't believe it either! I won a beautiful necklace from Spunk & Sass designs, a cute Etsy shop with all sorts of beautiful jewelry. My necklace arrived on Wednesday, and I couldn't wait to wear it to work on Thursday!

The necklace is hand-stamped with "Live Laugh Love" and has a few cute charms on it.

So, I guess this means that I'll never again be able to say that I never win anything, huh? :-)
