In this post, I mentioned that one of my goals was to become a better coupon shopper. My coupon supplies have more than tripled since I set this goal, and I'm taking the time to really study the weekly sale ads to find the best prices.
I've also started to drug store shop over the past two weekends. Oftentimes, they have great deals on some of the things that we use on a regular basis. I didn't make it to Walgreens over the weekend, but Abby and I did manage to stop there for a quick shopping trip after her doctor's appointment on Tuesday. I was so proud of myself that I just had to share my excellent shopping trip!
(Please note: I live on Long Island, so the base prices on many of our items are higher than in other parts of the country. Trust me, though, I got some great deals!)

That's right! I saved more than twice the amount that I spent! And honestly, these are things that we need and use on a regular basis. (Okay, I know that chewing gum isn't a necessity, but a girl's gotta have something, right?) Shampoo, deodorant, cereal, bleach - we need this stuff, so the fact that I was able to get it for such a great price makes it that much better!
So, am I coupon maven yet? No. Am I on my way? I think so... :-)

That is great!! I love when I can use coupons and save money! I wanted to pass along a few websites that you might find interesting. These are women who live in my area but they post info on stores all around the country. Hope it helps.
