Another development is Abby's desire to help. She will see Carey and I performing tasks around the house, and she'll try to help us. For instance, on Saturday night, I was folding laundry, and Abby began taking pieces of clothing out of the basket and putting them on my lap to be folded. On Sunday, when Carey returned from grocery shopping, Abby helped him put the groceries away by reaching in the grocery bags, pulling out the yogurts that Carey purchased, and giving them to him to put away. I managed to snap some pictures - it was so cute! :-)

Our Little Helper!
Abigail has entered an adorable phase of "sharing and helping." Whenever our little munchkin is eating or playing, she'll offer some of whatever she has to Carey or me. Last night, while sitting in her beautiful birthday chair from Grandpa Al and Grandma Dee, Abby fed me Cheerios, smiling each time she put one in my mouth and I said "Yummy!" It's so cute! We still have those moments of "I want what I want and I want it now," but it is heartwarming to see Abby learn to share with others.
