Taking a nap. (Abby has started sleeping with a blankie. It's so cute! I'll go in to check on her, and she'll be hugging it or using it like a pillow.)
Our first ride in a swing! We attended a Sweet 16 party on Saturday for one of my sister-in-law's nieces, and Abby really enjoyed riding in the infant swings!
Look what I do now!!! Abby loves to pull herself up on furniture. Occasionally, little Baby Knievel will even let go and stand on her own feet for a few seconds. (This makes mommy very nervous, but Abby seems to be a little daredevil!)
We're trying to introduce Abby to a sippy cup with water. I just put the cup in her path, and she'd usually pick it up. But, unlike everything else that she can get her hands on, Abby wouldn't put it into her mouth. So, today I sat her on my lap, put the cup in her hands, and guided it to her mouth. She didn't seem to love the water in the cup, but she did take a few sips before she lost interest in the water and decided to eat the handles instead...

Oh all those things are sooo exciting! She is growing up so fast!!!
That is awesome that she is learning how to use a cup! Keep trying with her, we just gave Sierra the opportunity at every meal time and it took her a while but she eventually started swallowing the water instead of spitting it out. Don't listen to all the "lies" that you have to put juice in a cup to get your kid to drink from the cup. Sierra has never had juice in her life and she is awesome with the cup!
Continued prayers for all of you! :)
Blessings! :)
