Sorry for the poor quality of the photograph. This is a picture of a picture... :-PGreat news on two fronts from Colorado! A few weeks ago, John was hired by Subaru to be part of an exclusive training program for managers. (Only 3 people were hired to the program this year!) John will have at least one year of training, most of which will be spent in New Jersey. I know that Kate is going to miss John, but Carey and I are excited that he'll be on our coast and we'll have the opportunity to see him. Plus, Abby has heard that Uncle John is very macho, so she'd like to meet him and see for herself. :-)
And, my sister shared some wonderful news with me on Friday: she was hired for a new job within Homeland Security. She applied for the job a few weeks ago, thinking that it would be a promotion and a good opportunity to gain some new skills. Well, the hiring committee had the wisdom and foresight to realize that hiring my sister was the best possible thing that they could do. :-)
So, the Ngs just want to send our congratulations to Kate and John. We're so happy for you guys and can't wait to hear about the new jobs!
