Solid food!

This past Saturday, Abigail made her first foray into solid food. The doctor gave us permission to start her on cereals, so we're beginning with rice and will then move on to oatmeal and barley. The process is definitely messy, but Abby is slowly getting the hang of it. Carey was feeding her this morning before I left for work, and at least 3/4 of the rice was making it into her little belly! But I knew she'd love it; Abby is half Asian, so of course she'd like rice! :-)

The first few times we tried to give her the rice cereal, she just didn't know what to do with it and pushed it right back out of her mouth with her tongue. So messy, but so cute! :-)
