Happy Birthday, Carey!!!

Today, my wonderful husband turns 32! Like wine and cheese, Carey only gets better with age. :-) I have been lucky enough to be a part of his "aging process" for the past 7+ years. I still remember when Carey asked me to "hang out" during my senior year at Syracuse; he has been a gift to me every day since then. There were smiles during our afternoon ice cream runs, and tears when Carey moved to NYC after he graduated and I stayed in Syracuse. In April 2004, I was blessed to become his wife, and in September 2008, he gave me the greatest gift ever when our little Abby arrived. Now, I see a man who has become an incredible lawyer, who takes every case seriously and fights for the victims of crimes. I see a son and brother who loves his family and would do anything for them. I see a father who sings to his baby even though he has an off-key voice and reads her the Financial Times every night to get her to sleep. (It's never too early to start your child's financial education!!) And, perhaps most importantly, I see a baby who looks at her daddy with nothing but love in her eyes, and that makes me love Carey even more. I am blessed to have this amazing man in my life and, while I thank God for him every day, I offer special thanks today, on his birthday. Carey- Abigail and I both love you so much! *smooch*
