Less than a month?!?!

Well, our official due date is September 10th, and today is August 11th, meaning that our little girl is due in less than a month! HOLY COW!! Of course, Carey and I are not foolish enough to think that Abigail will pay attention to her due date, so we're preparing for an early arrival, just in case... I did a few more loads of Abby-laundry yesterday, now focusing on sheets, blankets, and towels. I'm trying to get her bedroom set up so that everything is ready to go and in a place that makes sense (blankets near the rocking chair that we'll use for nursing, diapers and wipes by her changing table, etc.). We'll be putting the car seat base in the car this week, and I've laundered all the covers for the car seat, stroller, etc. We have been so blessed by our family and friends that we have pretty much everything that we'll need to get us through the first few weeks, at least. (We could practically fill an entire closet with diapers alone!!)

Now, our focus is on getting ourselves mentally prepared. At this point, I'm so excited that I can hardly sit still, but Carey is great at bringing my head out of the clouds and back to the task at hand: readying ourselves for baby Abigail!
