Did Abby "drop"???

All the pregnancy information that I've read states that your baby will "drop" towards the end of your pregnancy. (This is also called "lightening.") In most first-time mothers, this occurs between 2 and 4 weeks before going into labor.

Well, I was looking at my belly last night, and I'm pretty sure that Abigail has dropped. My belly looks different; before, I felt like I was carrying pretty high, and now I feel like I have a lot more girth underneath my belly button. I've also found myself having to pee more often. (Sorry for the gory details!) Sometimes, when I'm walking or sitting, I feel some pressure in my pelvic area, which is another sign. However, normally when your baby drops, you experience less heartburn, and Abby has not let up on that front. So, we'll see what the doctor says when Carey and I go for our 38 week check-up on Monday. If she did drop, this is another sign that she's on the way! Hooray!! :-)

I was going to post a picture, to get everyone else's opinion on the "Did she or didn't she" question, but I couldn't find the stupid camera this morning. Why is it, every time I look for the darn thing, I can't find it???

I hope Abby does or has dropped soon to give you some relief! I knew when Sierra "dropped" because I could breath much easier and I could finally finish a full meal! Guess my tummy wasn't as squished anymore! Soon yours won't be either! :)

Always praying!!! :)
