Anxious, but trying to be patient...

I'm trying. I'm trying very hard. However, as Carey could tell you, I am not very good at waiting. Especially when I know what's coming. I am so excited for Abigail's arrival, and I am starting to get very impatient! I keep reminding myself to enjoy these last few days/weeks with her inside of me, and I am enjoying it. I love her movements and the way she seems to respond to my voice or Carey's voice. (Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but I honestly believe that her movements are her "answers" to my questions or statements. Carey will ask her if she's giving her mommy a hard time, and if she's giving me heartburn, she'll bump me with her shoulder. Coincidence? Maybe. But interesting nonetheless...)

But, whenever I go into her room and I see her bassinet and crib set up, her clothes all washed and folded, and the stack of diapers ready for her little bum, I get so excited! But, Abby will join us on God's time, not on mine. So, I will do my best to be patient and continue to care for her as best I can until she joins us! Hopefully soon!!! :-)
