Good News!

I just spoke with my doctor's office. I took an oral glucose tolerance test on Tuesday to test for gestational diabetes, and I called the office this morning for my results. My test results came back normal! Hooray! Gestational diabetes is a condition that can be treated, and for most women it goes away after their child is born, but it can lead to complications with the baby that require very close monitoring during delivery and immediately afterward. I feel very lucky that this is not something that Abigail and I will have to worry about.
